Warm light
I like this lamp - but be aware it's going to cause the output from the sides to look very orange. It seems most of the light that's supposed to illuminate the room comes from the top. That doesn't do a lot of good in my application, but in a room with a ceiling it'll help a lot. In terms of light output it's a bit weak where I'm at, but I suspect much of the light is getting soaked up by the open, dark ceiling above. The switch works well, and the cable is a reasonable length.

Nice Lamp
I got this to go with the matching 50" Stix lamp, and they both look great in my room. They're bright enough for the whole room, and the beige paper gives the light a nice warm glow, even with low watt fluorescent bulbs.
Looks great
This lantern looks great on my desk and produces a warm flattering light. What else do you want from a light?
