Won't turn off
The light worked perfectly for about 2 weeks after being installed on the ceiling above a dark set of stairs going from the first floor to the second in the house. This is a much traveled stairway by humans, cats, and dogs and so it got a bit of a workout. After two weeks I noticed that the light started staying on almost constantly even when no one was around. By almost constantly I mean that it shut off for a second every 30 seconds and immediately turned back on again. It took a few days but eventually it drained the batteries. I took it down from the ceiling and made sure all the sensors were clean, replaced the batteries and it proceeded to stay on all the time again. While I had the ladder handy I took it down from the ceiling for the final time and I'm declaring this a bad product.
UPDATE: I got in touch with the manufacturer and they graciously sent me a replacement free of charge. They did not ask for the old one back. I put a fresh set of newly purchased batteries in...

Docry lights rock!!!
I like this motion light a lot. I placed it in my garage on the ceiling where the door entry is. I don't have to turn on and off the garage lights. It does what I got it for. Just enough light for me to see when I go in the garage in my entry and place my key in the lock to get in. It let's off a lot of light. I just ordered another one for the inside of my house so I can place it at night near my pets bowl of food and water when they are walking around at night. I love that it is motion sensored. It looks like a smoke alarm but that doesn't bother me. It looks nice and not tacky on your ceiling. Use this product so you can save on energy and for a lot of light in a small area such as an entrance or closet or hallway.
