Lovely ,contemporary lamp.
I just received my lamp from Amazon. It is very tall but not bulky looking due to being able to see through. I love the lamp and mine is definitely glass not acrylic. It is very light and fragile looking but looks lovely and the shade is very nice too. I am very pleased with the item.

Misleading...
The seller description of this product is misleading. It says "glass finish", which, together with the photograph, and the $126 price tag, would lead one to believe that the base is made out of glass. The base is instead made out of very lightweight acrylic. I understood I had been had when the packages arrived and each box weighed no more than 3lbs. Sceptical that a big box with a glass lamp inside would weigh only 3lbs, I opened one very carefully, and sure enough---found it to be made out of cheap plastic. Shame on the seller. However Amazon is the best! They promptly took it back.
