Well made and ncie appearance
This is a LOT bigger than the description seemed to indicate, but that's my fault for concentrating only on the diameter of the spiral and not thinking about the bulbs themselves. You'd be better off thinking about this as, say, 18" in diameter and a hanging a foot down. But although it looks a lot bigger than what I was planning, it still won me with its very nice nickel appearance and generally good construction.
One thing very slightly annoying is that the electrical box portion is very deep. It needs to be because it has a mess of wiring that gets in the way of your can's attachment hardware (which is not a problem because the electrical portion is extra-deep, no doubt precisely for this exact reason, but it hardly sits flush with your ceiling). The bulbs can be spun around 180 degrees; there are some angles that it cannot accomodate but that can mostly be addressed by simply rotating the entire fixture.
